The Crucible is built for rooms that change shape: banquet halls, hotel function rooms, event spaces and restaurants that clear the floor for private hire. It stacks up to eight high and weighs around 12 lb (5.5 kg), light enough to carry one-handed.
Construction. Black steel round-tube frame of 0.87 in (22 mm) diameter, welded and powder-coated. The padded back is set off the posts with a 0.8 in (2 cm) open gap, which lightens the look and gives a hand-hold. Nylon stacking bumpers under the seat corners keep stacked chairs from scuffing each other.
Fixed numbers. Seat height 18 in (46 cm); overall height 32 in (81 cm); safe stack of 8. Use a stacking dolly for moves, and stack on a level floor.
Change the fabric, keep the frame. Seat and back are upholstered panels fixed to the frame, so when the room's colors change, you recover the panels rather than buying new chairs.
Options. Charcoal bouclé shown; any contract fabric or vinyl; welt color; powder coat in black, bronze or RAL color; matching stack dollies.
