Few chairs have proved themselves in more cafes than the bentwood bistro chair. The Brennan keeps the form simple: a steam-bent back loop running into the rear legs, a round seat, and a bent ring tying the legs together beneath. It is light, compact and stacks visually in long rows without crowding the room.
Construction. Steam-bent solid hardwood. The back loop and rear legs are formed as one continuous piece, and the front legs and leg ring are screwed and glued into the seat ring. Because bentwood chairs rely on these fixings, we specify a reinforcing leg ring as standard for commercial use and pre-tighten all fixings before packing.
Maintenance. Bentwood fixings benefit from a periodic check-and-tighten, especially in the first months of service. We include guidance with every shipment.
Where it works. Bistros, wine bars, French and Italian restaurants, coffee houses and terraces under cover.
Options. Walnut, natural, black or custom stain; solid wood or padded upholstered seat; cane seat on request.
