The Hollis solves the armchair problem most restaurants run into: arms that hit the table edge, so the chair sits out in the aisle all night. Its arms top out at 24.4 in (62 cm), below a standard 30 in (76 cm) table top, so the whole chair slides under the table when it is not in use. That keeps aisles clear for service and, where it applies, for accessible routes.
Construction. A continuous U-shaped hardwood frame of flat 2 × 1.2 in (5 × 3 cm) section forms arms and back in one sweep, with an inset upholstered back cushion and an upholstered seat. Seat height 18 in (46 cm); overall height 30 in (76 cm).
Check your apron. Arm height is only half the story; the table apron or frame must also clear the arms. Send your table drawing and we will confirm the fit on the shop drawing.
Where it works. Opposite banquettes, hotel restaurants, brasseries and any room where armchairs are wanted but aisles are tight.
Options. Light oak, smoked or walnut finish; bouclé, fabric, vinyl or COM; contrast welt.
