The Parker separates frame and upholstery: a dark, sculpted hardwood frame with broad flat arms carries a padded back panel and seat that appear to float within it. The result is an armchair that feels substantial but not boxy, and the exposed arms give guests a hard surface to rest on that does not wear like fabric.
Construction. Solid hardwood frame with shaped arm-to-leg joints, mortise-and-tenon joined and glued. The back panel and seat are upholstered separately and fixed to the frame, which keeps them replaceable. Seat foam is high-resilience polyurethane on a plywood pan.
Where it works. Chinese and pan-Asian fine dining, hotel restaurants, private dining rooms and executive dining. It sits well opposite a banquette or around a round table.
Options. Frame in black, espresso or walnut stain; upholstery in vinyl, leather, fabric or COM; seat and back can be in different colors.
Arm clearance. The flat arms are drawn to clear a standard table apron, and we confirm the measurement against your own table on the drawing before production.
